From The Parents, Adult Students And Other Teachers
"Ms. Fringer is a thoughtful, kind, and patient music teacher who has taught my daughter from 2005-current. She feels Georgia is a great role model who always creates new goals for her which motivates and challenges her to become a better musician. Georgia's constant encouragement with her is reflected in her excitement for music and her enthusiasm every time she goes to lesson. As parents, it is gratifying for us to have a mentor and teacher with Georgia who not only teaches, but inspires our daughter to play so well year after year. For that we are thankful to have Georgia guiding her to higher levels of musical knowledge and ability in a positive environment. Georgia Fringer is a true blessing for all of us."
"I highly recommend Georgia Fringer as a strings teacher. Georgia has the ability to inspire her students to love music. My daughter underwent a transformation Georgia's tutelage, changing from a student who happened to play barely adequately in her middle school orchestra to a self-proclaimed musician who has become poised and confidant as she, now a freshman in high school, enjoys performing at charity events and in local orchestras and ensemble groups."
"I have wanted to learn to play the cello since my grandson began playing two years ago. I started lessons with Georgia Fringer in July 2011. She is an enthusiastic and energetic teacher who keeps finding performance opportunities for her students. This has been a wonderful experience for me. Being a beginner has been very energizing for me. Georgia has encouraged and challenged me by continuing to introduce new music and assure me I can learn to play it. I have found the challenge of learning the new music and performing it has advanced my ability to play enormously. I am 73 years old, playing with 7-14 year olds. They have been wonderfully accepting and supportive. After I played in my first recital, one of the younger students put his thumbs up and said "good job" to me.! The process of stretching beyond what I imagine I can do, having the opportunity to make music with a group, and challenging myself to keep at it, has been enriching and added much joy to my life. I am grateful."
"My daughter had a habit of starting a new activity and then 3-4 weeks into it deciding she no longer wants to continue. However, a year (?) later, Georgia still has her excited about music. How many kids do you know who voluntarily take their instrument on summer vacation? Georgia's students, that's who! Georgia prodded my daughter to try out for all-county orchestra last year, and supported her through what could have been a traumatic experience. My daughter was so excited when she was accepted, and the experience helped her improve dramatically as a violist, and has given her a huge boost in self-esteem."
"Georgia taught me for 5 years and inspired me to become a violist for the Baltimore Symphony Youth Orchestra and to pursue music as a career myself"
"My son and three grandchildren all study with Georgia,. It is a rare teach who can work easily and productively with both school children and adults. My 12 yo twin grandsons think lessons with Miss Georgia are "fun and interesting!" They also made Junior High All-County Orchestra in 6th grade (their 3rd year of lessons) so I would say as a flutist and flute teacher that they are progressing well as is their sister (age 10). My son went back to playing and taking lessons after he observed the children's lessons."
"Georgia really takes her time with her clients. Our friend has special needs and Georgia has been able to adapt to her learning style, teach her new information, encourage her to keep trying and that keeps our friend happy and willing to keep playing! She's amazing!"
"Wonderful, professional instructor. Caring about her students and very clear about her policies. Recommended highly in the music community and by other professional musicians. Georgia is a kind, inspiring teacher that motivates her students to excel. She takes the time to explain things carefully and works well with all age groups and ability levels. I have been amazed by the dedication she brings to her students and her studio. She is truly a blessing to many!"
