Belle Musique Lesson Policies
Students and parents will be asked to sign the policy sheet to continue lessons to ensure understanding of all policies.

1. Materials: Students should be prepared at ALL lessons and rehearsals. If you are unsure as to what should be brought to each meeting please contact Georgia or see the Needed Materials List.
2. Behavior: Students, parents and families will be polite and respectful during lessons and rehearsals.
3. No exceptions. Continued disrespect will result in termination of lessons without a refund. Practicing: Students should practice according to their Suzuki Level. Below is a recommendation of practice time. These are minimums and should be used as a guide. Students may practice more during the week. Students should be practicing on average between four and five days a week to ensure that the material is being worked on and retained. Suzuki One: 10 Minutes Suzuki Two: 20 Minutes Suzuki Three: 30 Minutes Suzuki Four: 40 Minutes Suzuki Five+: 60 Minutes
4. Parent Involvement: Sitting in on lessons is extremely helpful for the parent to see what the child is learning so that they can enforce the topics at home. Parent - Teacher communication and feedback works wonders!
5. Cancellations and Make - Up Lessons: There are NO refunds given for missed lessons. A makeup lesson will be o ered for the reasons listed below (Notice times)- Teacher Cancellation- Illness: 2 Hour Minimum- Family Emergencies- Vacations, school events etc. (One week minimum notice) Students who cancel their scheduled make up lessons will not be offered another make up. Inclement weather cancellations made by Georgia do not count as canceling a make up.
6. Payments and Late Fees: Payments are due the last week of the month for the following month. Payments can be made by cash, venmo or cashapp. If you need payment arrangements please speak with Georgia. Late Fees $10.00 Fee per week late Students with more than two weeks of non-payment will not be allowed in lessons until payment is received.
7. Discontinuing Lessons And Taking Breaks From Lessons: If a student decides to QUIT lessons they are required to give a two weeks notice. If notice is not given or immediate discontinuation is required a fee of two weeks lessons worth is due at the last lesson and students will not be allowed back in Belle Musique Lessons. If a student wants to TAKE A BREAK from lessons they may do so but their time slot will be filled. To keep the time slot open payments are still due as usual. When returning to lessons there may or may not be a time slot available for them. This includes taking breaks for the summer / school year. ***
8. Dismissal From The Studio: Although it is extremely rare sometimes students and families may be asked to leave the studio. Students will be asked to leave the studio if the student and family do not comply with the studio policy. If students are dismissed from the studio they forfeit their payments and make up lessons. After student dismissal there should be NO contact between student, parent or family and Georgia.

I agree to pay the amount of $__________ per lesson for a total of $___________________ per month depending on four or five weeks for a 30 / 60 (circle one) lesson per week. I understand that late fees may apply and that discontinuation of lessons may happen if I do not pay or continue to pay late. I agree to have lessons in my home and to provide a safe and quite area for lessons to occur.
