Georgia believes that in order to have well rounded musicians students should participate in a variety of events. These events include the following...

Fall Fest
Students are selected to perform in the annual Westminster Fall Fest Parade Competition. Students have the opportunity to play in a small ensemble between eight and ten musicians. Students learn to not only listen within their section but also to the other sections of the group. All the benefits of a quartet and a large ensemble. Students are selected for this group based on need and ability.
Christmas Recital
Students are given the opportunity to play in a larger group. Having the fuller group requires the students to listen within their section, to the other sections, being aware of the other sections parts and be able to follow a conductor. Christmas groups give students the opportunity to play in a larger group than they have been able to throughout the year. All students are welcome to participate.
